Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND (fargohope.org) is excited to welcome an experienced and visionary Executive Pastor of Student Ministries who will bring a fresh strategy to a talented team of Pastors and Directors.

Hope Lutheran Church, located in the growing city of Fargo, North Dakota, is poised to continue an upward trajectory of growth and impact in their community. Hope is a healthy, growing congregation across three campuses and welcomes a weekly attendance of 3,800. The church is known for its excellent student ministries, which spans birth through high school. Senior Pastor Paul Nynas, who previously served as Student Pastor and then as Executive Pastor, was installed last year to lead the church as Senior Pastor. While Pastor Paul was the Student Pastor, the ministry flourished and both volunteers and students felt empowered and equipped to impact the church and community. Those who serve in student ministries are eager to welcome a leader who will equip and develop them as they continue their mission to encourage all people to know the love of Christ.

The incoming Executive Pastor of Student Ministries will be a leader who at the core is passionate about Jesus and students. This person will model leadership that is dependent on the Holy Spirit and committed to solid Biblical teaching. The ideal candidate will know how to cast a compelling vision, meaningfully develop the staff, build off existing momentum and draw people into greater participation.

Fargo is a family-friendly, growing city with a metro population of just under 250,000. Hope’s North Campus is minutes from North Dakota State University, the airport, and downtown Fargo.
