The Big Idea
Since 1964, Faith Church has been a congregation marked by bold Kingdom vision—planting churches, sending missionaries, and grounding people in biblical truth. What began as Faith Missionary Church grew to 1,300 in attendance at its peak, prompting its move to its current location in 1979 and secure affiliation with the Evangelical Free Church of America. Today, Faith remains a warm, mission-minded body of approximately 600 adults and children, distinguished by theological depth, prayerful engagement, and mature lay leadership. Following recent leadership transitions, the church stands at an exciting inflection point: ready to reaffirm its mission, bridge generational and worship-style diversity, and unite around a fresh, Spirit-led vision that reaches young families and deepens community impact. Led by elders with ministry implementation carried out by four pastors and a staff of 16, Faith Church is poised for greater things.
The Candidate
Faith Church seeks a mission-minded Lead Pastor who combines spiritual depth with strong leadership and emotional intelligence. This pastor will love Jesus deeply, lead with courage and humility, and demonstrate faith in the pulpit and in everyday relationships. A gifted expositor, the ideal candidate will bring biblical depth and practical insight that connect across generations and worship styles. This leader will unite a thoughtful, multi-generational congregation around a shared mission, honoring Faith’s strong heritage while casting a bold, forward-looking vision for Kingdom impact. The next pastor will navigate complexity with grace, build trust, and foster unity across diverse perspectives. Above all, Faith Church is looking for a shepherd-leader who equips others for ministry, models authentic faith, and inspires the congregation to engage their community with the hope of Christ.
