Valley is in an exciting season as it aims to fully reengage its missions and outreach ministries following the pandemic. It is focusing its efforts in equipping and engaging the body for greater outreach to the world. The vision at Valley is “to build a community of believers who actively impact our world for Christ.” The mission is “to honor God and grow in Christ by worshipping God, equipping believers, bringing people to Christ, and serving neighbors.” This vision and mission are part of every ministry at Valley, but the World Outreach ministry may have the largest platform to execute and accomplish it. With hundreds of global and local serving opportunities while supporting over 40 missionaries across the globe, there are myriad ways for congregants to get out, go serve, and share the life-changing message of Jesus. Leadership at Valley values and champions outreach, and is looking to this next leader to set the tone and bring the World Outreach ministry into a new season with even greater impact.
Passionate about reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the right pastor will cast a compelling vision, relationally engage, personally motivate, collectively inspire, and move the ministry forward into its preferred future. Valley desires a leader experienced in world outreach and missiology and is energized by joining a healthy church and maximizing an already strong ministry. With an ability to assess and measure while collaboratively working with a team, the ideal candidate will identify potential, equip and empower others, and place them into their “sweet spot” of service.

Strategically located between New York and Boston, Valley has access to large metropolitan areas and directly ministers to the greater Farmington Valley, which encompasses several interconnected communities.
