Two Rivers Church (www.2rc.tv) in Knoxville, TN is excited to welcome a team-oriented Campus and Teaching Pastor to its high capacity Lead Team, to further the vision to multiply followers of Jesus at its Harrison Lane campus.
Two Rivers, a growing multi-site church of 2,200 is seeking someone who desires to shepherd a vibrant faith community, help other leaders develop, and encourage people at every stage of spiritual maturity to take next steps in their faith journey. As a member of the teaching team, there is an opportunity for a talented, thoughtful, inspirational communicator of God’s Word to draw people into the Word, relating biblical truth to the realities and complexities of everyday life. A distinguishing characteristic of Two Rivers is its value for the two rivers of “Word and Spirit” which flow throughout the ministries of the church. Weekend services at the Harrison Lane campus are offered on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m., and on Sundays in three worship venues at 9:15 and 11 a.m. (one live teaching, two HD video of teaching). The Campus and Teaching Pastor will have direct oversight of the ministry leaders of Connections, Kids, Student and Worship Ministries, and will support the leaders of Groups, Prayer/Care and Impact.
This incoming leader will connect easily with people, caring about them and encouraging them to anticipate what God will do next. The best fit for the team is someone who is down to earth, genuine, transparent and organized. Effective staff are self-motivated, responsible, supportive to others, and able to work with teams to deliver results.
