NL Moore & Associates is pleased to announce East Lake Community Church in Irmo, South Carolina has selected Rob Townshend as their Student & Family Pastor.
Rob is an experienced pastor and ministry leader who loves investing in the next generation. Rob and his family come to East Lake from Washington state where Rob served as Associate Pastor of Family and Spiritual Formation. He is a dynamic speaker who will lead the student ministry, next gen team, and reach across generational lines as part of the Sunday morning preaching team. He has pursued strategic partnerships with Young Life, local mentoring programs, and multiple school districts to increase the ability to reach children, students, and families for Christ.
Rob holds a Master’s degree in Ministry with a concentration in Biblical Studies, Spiritual Formation and Community Analysis from Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School in Chicago, IL, and a Bachelor degree in Business Management and Administration from Norwich University, Northfield, VT.
Rob and his wife love entertaining their friends, going hiking and kayaking with their kids.
