Pathway Church in Vero Beach, FL is seeking to hire a Pastor of Administration to add to their growing team. This recently created position will join Lead Pastor Brian Bennett and the incoming Pastor of Ministries to form an Executive team that will work to implement the vision and undergird the church’s ministries. This growing congregation will benefit from operational leadership in this role that is experienced, gifted in leading a team, and is eager to help create a foundation this church can keep building upon.

Pathway is a church moving into an exciting chapter of ministry. Pastor Brian Bennett arrived as Lead Pastor in 2020, and under his leadership, the church has moved through a very purposeful season of reorientation and is now gaining momentum. New people are coming on Sundays and getting involved. While the growth is exciting, it is straining the current capacity of the team. In response, leadership has worked to create two new positions: the Pastor of Administration to oversee the operational team and the Associate Pastor of Ministries to directly oversee ministries. The incoming Pastor of Administration will play a key role in empowering and advancing the operational and internal systems of the church and will provide direct leadership to the Operational departments, including the five full- and several part-time staff involved in Finance, Office Management, Human Resources/Personnel, IT, Communications and Facilities/Maintenance.

The right person for this role will be a leader of leaders with an eye for developing people and maximizing resources. With attentiveness to detail, a strong work ethic, and known for their sense of responsibility, this will be a person others look to for their steadiness and wisdom. This is a leader who feels a very clear call to what is often referred to as the “second chair,” ready to come alongside a dynamic, visionary Lead Pastor in order to execute and implement the vision. The right candidate will be deeply committed to serving the church and exude a life that has been changed by Jesus in a way that impacts all of who they are and how they lead.

Vero Beach is a beautiful beach town, (population 17,000 in the city limits, but 163,000 in the county of Indian River) on the south-central coast of Florida which is referred to as the Treasure Coast. Only 90 minutes from all the activities in Orlando and 45 minutes north of Palm Beach, Vero has maintained a small-town feel even as the town is experiencing significant growth at present. People from within Florida, in particular from the west coast and further south are finding their way to Vero to escape from the increasing population. This influx of people includes many young families and retirees looking to take advantage of the lower cost of living in comparison to other areas in Florida.
