Trinity Church is a healthy church ripe with potential. The people are friendly, the staff is talented, and the facility is filled with amazing space for ministry. It is clear the congregation wants to grow and reach new people with God’s redemptive love, but they need a clear focus, direction and plan of action to make it happen.
This multi-generational congregation of about 420 people offers two distinct styles of worship each weekend: A “Classic” service at 9 a.m. with traditional music, including a choir and orchestra, that is held in a beautiful “New England” style sanctuary, and a “CrossWalk” service at 10:30 a.m. with modern music and a more relaxed vibe that is held in the gym. The same sermon message is delivered in both services with slight adaptations to better connect with the listener. The staff of 17 full and part-time employees is strong and talented. The extensive 60,000 sq. ft. facility is located on 7 acres on the south side of South Bend. It is debt free and beautifully maintained.
The ideal candidate for Trinity Church will be a warm, relational leader and pastor who enjoys getting to know people socially and spiritually. He will be passionate about the power of the Gospel to transform lives, and will encourage God’s people to live on mission as reproducing disciples who actively engage their world.
