Northwest Bible Church (northwestbible.org) in Dallas, TX is excited and eager to call a passionate and energized Outreach Minister to join their team, lead the global and local outreach ministries of the church, and maximize their efforts in reaching people for Jesus.
Northwest Bible Church is a warm, welcoming and relational church of more than 2,000. Last year, the church began pursuing an exciting new vision: “By 2026, we will be having thousands of surprisingly easy-to-start conversations about Jesus all over our city because we are convinced where God has us is where Jesus is.” This new pathway has created fantastic opportunities for outreach at Northwest, and the Outreach Minister will have far-reaching impact and influence both at the church and in the community. Three unique areas of focus comprise the Outreach Ministry: (1) the Northwest Community Center, a 15,00 square-foot facility dedicated to its prolific work serving refugees; (2) an active and well-appointed Sports & Fitness ministry with amazing facilities; and (3) a robust global missions ministry that sends or supports over 50 international missionaries on six continents and partners with 11 international missions organizations.
The ideal candidate for Northwest will be a leader who is passionate about reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Modeling authentic faith and a dependence on the Holy Spirit, this leader will know how to cast a compelling vision, is experienced in equipping others for outreach, and is energized at the idea of coming into a healthy context and making the ministry even better. Excited by working with a gifted staff and outreach committee, he or she will know how to identify potential in others, equipping and empowering them into their “sweet spot” of service.
