The Big Idea

Cannon Beach Community Church has been a cornerstone of faith and community on the Oregon Coast since Christians first gathered for worship in Cannon Beach in 1927, officially chartering the church in 1930 as the town’s first local congregation. Over the years, CBCC has grown into a healthy, thriving, multi-generational church of more than 300 people, with approximately 180 gathering weekly for worship. As a key partner to the Lead Pastor, this person will serve across a broad range of ministry responsibilities, including preaching, pastoral care, weddings, funerals, baptisms, and church leadership, while also helping shape the future vision and direction of the church. Known throughout the community for faithful biblical teaching, authentic worship, and compassionate outreach, the church has become a trusted and caring presence where people naturally turn in times of need. CBCC is marked by a deep love for Jesus, a collaborative and unified ministry team, and a vibrant sense that God is actively moving in and through the congregation.
