Christ Lutheran Church (CLC), in Whitefish, MT is experiencing strong growth under the leadership of its new Senior Pastor. This new position is designed to help continue the good work taking place by investing in the next generation. The church is excited to call a Youth and Family Pastor who will lead, disciple, and shepherd children, youth, and their families into a bright future.
The Big Idea
The Flathead County is one of the most rapidly growing locations in the United States, and CLC is positioned in the heart of it all. Since the recent hire of their Senior Pastor, the church has experienced 30 percent growth, especially in younger families. The church is motivated and engaged in reaching new people and discipling those who fellowship with the church. They are a community-focused body with a wonderful legacy of outreach to the community, seeking to be the hands and feet of Jesus to others. Their new campus and facilities were completed a few years ago and now provide an outstanding tool for ministry to children and youth. In fact, the facility was built with this purpose in mind. The annual VBS program offered by the church is well-known in the community and draws over 200 kids each year. While CLC is proud of their Lutheran heritage, they see themselves as a big tent kind of church where people of all backgrounds can grow in their relationship with Jesus. They believe this moment in their history has positioned them to orient ministries to better draw younger families and youth to the church.

The incoming Youth and Family Pastor will express a passionate love of Jesus and model this life-giving walk. They will be a relational person who can easily converse with the youngest person in their ministry and the eldest person in the church.
