Following a successful succession plan and search, NL Moore & Associates is pleased to announce the call of Pastor Shelton Markham as the Senior Pastor of Paseo Del Rey Church in Chula Vista, California with an outstanding unanimous vote of 100 percent.
Pastor Shelton, his wife Amy and their three energetic children come to Paseo del Rey from Community Bible Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where Shelton served for seven years. He initially served as Student & Teaching Pastor but more recently moved into the Discipleship Pastor role.
Shelton takes a relational approach to ministry which will fit well with the wonderful, friendly culture of Paseo del Rey Church. He has a track record of growth in the ministries he has led. He not only enjoys preaching and teaching, but motivating and equipping people to be a part of what God is doing in the church and in the community. Shelton holds a Master of Theological Studies from George W. Truett Seminary, Baylor University, TX, and a Bachelor degree in Religion from Baylor University, TX.
As a family, the Markham’s love to travel, read, and laugh. They think family dinners are a non-negotiable part of their family culture, and they regularly enjoy dance parties in the kitchen with the music cranked as loud as it can possibly go.
