In what is already proving to be a successful turn-around story, Pastor Brian is eager to focus on children and their families and make it a central part of Pathway’s vision to impact the entire community.
The ideal candidate will express a sincere call to children’s ministry and have a heartfelt desire for children to know and love Jesus. The right person for this role is an experienced children’s leader who possesses strong interpersonal skills and relational intelligence. He or she will inspire confidence in others through an authentic and transparent relationship with Jesus. They will be comfortable working collaboratively with others and will be skilled in both seeing and developing the potential in people as they build a strategic and comprehensive, volunteer-empowered ministry. They will infuse fun, positive energy, and love as they inspire trust and confidence in children, parents, and volunteers alike. This man or woman must be a born-again believer, devoted to God’s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit and committed to maturing in their walk with Jesus Christ; spiritually mature, emotionally stable, and theologically aligned with the Church of God movement (www.jesusisthesubject.org/our-beliefs/ in general and the 2003 publication of “We Believe” in particular).
