The new Lead Pastor will have the opportunity to assess current ministries and work with other capable leaders, including two Associate Pastors, to ensure the impact of the church and its ministries are purposeful and transforming. This individual will help improve or elevate the good things that exist in the church and work well with the team to creatively advance effective ministries.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced pastor who loves people and enjoys being their pastor. This individual will be patient and allow people time to build trust by listening and learning their stories and family. The candidate will understand and value historic ways of operating while challenging and motivating people to stretch and move in new ways. This pastor will preach and teach Biblical truths in a way that is easily understood, inspiring people of all ages to live what they learn in daily life. It is important this person enjoys working with other capable pastors and ministry leaders, bringing the skills necessary to effectively empower, equip and manage the team.
Located an easy one-hour drive west of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area, Hutchinson, MN is a beautiful hometown to more than 14,000 residents. Close enough to the amenities of the city, but far enough away to enjoy a slower pace of life, “Hutch” as it is affectionately known, is nestled along the banks of the South Fork of the Crow River. The largest city in McLeod County, its agricultural roots are enhanced by local manufacturing, a community/technical college, restaurants, and shopping options, which make it an economic hub in the region.
