Church Oshkosh (CCO) in Oshkosh, WI is ready to welcome their first Executive Pastor! God is blessing the ministry of this church as they pursue their vision to “Follow Jesus Together.” This gifted team of pastors and staff are in need of an experienced pastor-leader who will partner with Senior Pastor Karl Kramer to build out the organization and support the dynamic ministry happening through Community Church.
The Big Idea
This is an incredible moment to join what God is doing at Community Church Oshkosh. The Church is growing, and Pastor Karl Kramer, while having been on staff for nearly 20 years, has just moved into the Senior Pastor role. People are excited, motivated, and moving on mission. After just opening an addition of 16,000 square feet of building space this summer, ministry space is already hitting capacity once again. This Executive Pastor role is a new role for the team at CCO, and they need an experienced leader who will take joy in making everyone around them better.
The Candidate
The right Executive Pastor will come with a pastor’s heart, eager to support the ministry happening through Community Church. He will see how God is using Pastor Karl’s leadership and want to support him and empower Pastor Karl’s strengths and gifts. This person will bring experience building out and undergirding ministry in a way that supports what God is doing and allows for continued growth and development. This will be a leader who takes joy in identifying talent and developing other leaders. Taking time to get to know people, this pastor will work to see the staff succeed and thrive in their roles. This Executive Pastor will be one that wants to build teams and work through the gifts and talents of others.
The Location
Oshkosh, Wisconsin is a small city that sits right in the middle of the Highway 41 corridor connecting Green Bay to Chicago. With a population of more than 171,000, greater Oshkosh offers everything you could want within a 20-minute drive. The lakes surrounding Oshkosh offer outdoor recreation year-round, from ice-fishing and pond hockey to kayaking and wakeboarding. The city was put on the map by the Experimental Aircraft Association and incredible outdoor musical festivals. The city continues to grow while holding on to its unique history and grit.
