Christ Lutheran Church (CLC) is experiencing dynamic growth under the leadership of its new Senior Pastor, and additional staff is needed to meet the needs of the church body. Therefore, the church is excited to call an Associate Pastor who will lead, disciple, and shepherd children, youth, and their families into a bright future.
Flathead County is one of the most rapidly growing locations in the United States, and CLC is positioned in the heart of it all. Since the recent hire of their Senior Pastor, the church has grown by 30 percent. The church is motivated and engaged in reaching new people and discipling those who fellowship with the church. They are a community-focused body with a wonderful legacy of outreach to the community, seeking to be the hands and feet of Jesus to others.
The incoming Associate Pastor will express a passionate love of Jesus and daily model this life-giving walk. This person will be a relational individual who can easily converse with the youngest person in their ministry and the eldest person in the church. This person will exhibit a love for students and strive to get to know them and the world in which they live. Knowledge of family systems and dynamics is important as the Associate Pastor will minister to the whole family. This position requires an organized and engaging person who will lead the discipling and care functions for children ages birth to 4th grade, students from 5th to 12th grade, and their families.
CLC is situated in beautiful Whitefish, Montana, a town of about 8,000 located on the shores of Whitefish Lake and just a short jaunt to Glacier National Park. Whitefish has the unique distinction of being listed as one of the “Top 25 Ski Towns in the World” by National Geographic. The active person can enjoy a year-round playground of activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and live professional theater and stellar dining. With a highly rated school system, low crime, and one of the lowest tax rates in the U.S., the quality of life in the region has not gone unnoticed.
