Bethel Church of Houston is seeking a Student Ministries Pastor who loves students and wants to see them discover their full potential in Christ. He will be energetic and relational and will bring a fun but biblically rich style of communication to the ministry.
Since calling a Lead Pastor in February 2023, new energy has swept across the congregation. People are excited to be at Bethel and feel like it’s a fresh place. Congregants are rediscovering ministry and are re-engaging the work. In this season, the church has grown significantly in Sunday morning attendance. The church values the next generation and therefore seeks to call a Student Ministries Pastor who can revitalize the youth ministry and spiritually invest in teenagers. He will be joined by a quality team of eight youth leaders who also sense a calling to partner in the lives of teens.
The incoming Student Ministries Pastor for Bethel church will be a shepherd to the students, leading and guiding them out of their own growing relationship with God. He will invest in relationships and model authentic community to those whom he serves. He will be confident yet humble and will demonstrate true servant leadership. The right pastor will be a self-starter, a go-getter, and someone who activates others. The incoming pastor will enjoy living where the church is located and increase his proximity to those they hope to reach. The right pastor recognizes the value of administration and its importance in accomplishing the mission of Bethel Church.
Houston, Texas has a metro population of 2.3 million people. The weather is sunny year-round. Along with hosting several professional sports teams, Houston, or H-town as it is often called, has a vibrant downtown scene and excellent cultural offerings.
