Hope Church (www.hopechurchabq.com) in Albuquerque is looking for an experienced Lead Pastor and dynamic biblical teacher to build on a foundation that has been solidified through a nearly two-year intentional interim season. As they emerge from this intentional interim season, the church feels it is stronger and better prepared to move into the future God has in mind. With the right leader in place, the future of Hope will be bright!
Congregants at Hope Church care deeply for their city. They would love to grow in diversity so they better reflect the demographic of the community, but they need strategic, directional leadership to know how to do so. Attenders genuinely aspire to make a tangible, Gospel-focused difference in the lives of others; to be an active, vital congregation that loves each other well and intentionally loves and serves those who do not yet know Jesus. They desire to call a Lead Pastor with the strategic ability to create and execute a plan with them to bring that aspiration to life.
Hope needs a strong spiritual and strategic leader who steps to the forefront to show others the way. They also need a pastor who will exercise his responsibilities with the heart of a shepherd and will genuinely care for the spiritual health and growth of the congregation. Doctrinally sound, he will speak biblical truth with love, grace, and relevance, helping people see how God’s Word meets them where they are in the midst of daily life. He will value relationships. He will take initiative to get to know people personally and spiritually, and model the kind of personal engagement with the church and community that reflects a sincere invitation to connect at Hope.
