Bay Area Community Church in Annapolis, MD is ready and excited to welcome a new Student Pastor to join their team; one that will love and lead them as they pursue meaningful discipleship, authentic relationships, and missional community.

Bay Area Student Ministry (BASM) is an incredible ministry opportunity. With a goal to help students develop such a passion for Jesus and compassion for others that they don’t graduate from their faith when they graduate from student ministry, BASM desires to empower students, 6th through 12th grade, to become disciples of Jesus who take their faith beyond the church walls. BASM is well-resourced and supported but ripe for innovation. Values are clear but the program needs a Student Pastor who brings an ability to assess and evaluate its elements and then propose renovations that improve the experience and impact for students. It will benefit from someone who can refresh the program and maximize the incredible potential to create a truly exceptional ministry to students.

The ideal Student Pastor will deeply love Jesus and students. Willing to challenge the status quo, they will ensure the best idea wins the day for the sake of the gospel. Innovative and creative, the ideal candidate will have experience renovating or optimizing a ministry program. Encouraging and developmental in his approach, this pastor will love students, staff, and volunteers, and will long to see them mature as passionate, growing disciples of Jesus. He will view his primary role as pastor, and then organizational leader.

Annapolis is one of the most beautiful cities on the eastern seaboard. Nestled alongside Chesapeake Bay, Annapolis is the state capital of Maryland and the sailing capital of the US. The historic downtown is a unique mix of stately historic homes, brick streets, charming boutiques, and sidewalk cafes. An easy commute to Baltimore and Washington, DC, Annapolis is a diverse city that feels both urban and suburban. People here are warm, hospitable, and relaxed.
