Grace Pointe Church in Plainfield, IL is excited to call a dynamic and gifted Campus Pastor to lead their campus as they continue to pursue a vision to reach the Plainfield community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This key hire for Grace Pointe Church Plainfield (GPP) will be critical to the continued health, growth, and impact of the church. This pastor will be the primary preaching and teaching voice for GPP, and be a consistent presence in the Plainfield community. He will partner with key stakeholders, ministry staff, and elders and be the “driver” for vision, direction, and strategic planning. In addition to knowing, caring for and spiritually shepherding the attenders of GPP, the incoming campus pastor will give direct oversight and support to the staff and leaders of Students, Kids, Administration and Worship ministries.
The right pastor for GPP will be an outgoing leader who models an authentic spiritual life marked by a devoted relationship with Jesus. This relational leader will possess a profound love for other people and bring them into a deeper relationship with God and others. This pastor will know how to connect in the greater Plainfield community, break down barriers to entry, create on-ramps to engagement, and make it easy for people to get involved. Working with key leaders to create plans and initiatives that strategically and meaningfully elevate GPP, he will possess a keen understanding of best practices and how to best integrate them within the context of Grace Pointe Church.
